Sustainable event production

Sustainability is built into how we design, plan and deliver every project from day one.

Why sustainability matters in events

Events may be temporary, but their impact can last much longer. They consume materials, energy and resources that contribute to climate change, biodiversity loss and irreversible pressure on finite natural resources.

But when smart planning and thoughtful design are in place, it doesn’t have to be that way. Events can be delivered responsibly, creating positive community impact without causing unnecessary environmental harm.

How we deliver sustainable event production

Decisions made at design stage ripple out long after the event ends. That’s why we think about sustainability upfront. Beyond how something looks, we consider how it will be built, what it’s made of and what happens to it afterwards.

Here’s how we deliver events sustainably:

1

We plan carefully to avoid unnecessary waste.

2

We choose materials carefully and responsibly.

3

We design for reuse, repurpose and refurbishment.

4

We actively manage our waste to stay out of landfill and incineration.

5

We track our carbon footprint and energy consumption.

6

We plan logistics efficiently to reduce unnecessary transport.

7

We train our team and encourage shared responsibility.

8

We support the communities we operate in.

Through all of these actions, and more, we bring bold, creative ideas into the real world responsibly. And we do it without costing our clients more (in many cases, it can even cost less).

Carbon literacy training for events

Creative responsibility is a core part of who we are, and we know that the industry can move forward faster when knowledge is shared.

That’s why we’ve developed an accredited Carbon Literacy course to help individuals and teams to reduce the footprint of their festivals and live events.
